Recycling Guide

Batteries and electric accumulators

Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of with household waste, but must be treated according to the provisions of your municipality of residence to ensure a correct recycling process.

Every consumer is legally required to hand over used batteries and accumulators free of charge to a collection point in their municipality, to a recycling centre or to a retailer.

Batteries and accumulators may contain harmful substances which, if not handled correctly, can harm the environment and endanger human health.

Remove used batteries and accumulators at the end of their life from the devices containing them and dispose of them separately. This separation will simplify the recycling of different types of batteries and accumulators.
